Cable Car
The final approach to the Eispalast requires taking the Dachstein Glacier cable car from the valley station in Schildlehen, Ramsau am Dachstein, to the Dachstein mountain station. From the mountain station, follow the signs for a short walk to the suspension bridge, which leads directly to the Eispalast entrance. A combi-ticket for the cable car, including access to the Dachstein Suspension Bridge, Stairway to Nothingness, and the Eispalast, costs from €60.50 for adults. A fixed seat booking for the panorama gondola is recommended and costs an additional €2.90 per person. Please note that the Dachstein road is a toll road, but the toll is included when using the gondola, remember to validate your toll ticket at the machine in the Dachstein mountain station.
