    From Schladming, take the Planai buses (lines 900/901, 972/973/974) to the valley terminal of the Gipfelbahn Hochwurzen cable car. The bus stop is named 'Gipfelbahn Hochwurzen'. From the valley terminal, take the Gipfelbahn cable car directly to the Hochwurzenhütte. Bus fare is approximately €3-5. A single trip on the Hochwurzen cable car costs €24 for adults and €12.50 for children.

    From Schladming, drive along the Hochwurzenstraße (L722) towards Rohrmoos. Continue to the valley terminal of the Gipfelbahn Hochwurzen cable car. Parking is available at the valley terminal. From the parking area, take the Gipfelbahn cable car to the Hochwurzenhütte. Parking fees vary, with options for daily tickets around €7 without the Sommercard. A single trip on the Hochwurzen cable car costs €24 for adults and €12.50 for children.

    From the valley terminal of the Hochwurzen cable car in Rohrmoos, several hiking trails lead to the Hochwurzenhütte. Trails #60 and #61 are popular options, with #60 being a more scenic forest and meadow trail. The hike is steep, covering 760 meters in vertical ascent. Allow 2-3 hours for the ascent. Upon reaching the summit, the Hochwurzenhütte is located a short distance from the cable car station.
