    Gondola

    The most convenient way to reach Schafalm is via the Planai 10-passenger gondola from Schladming. From the Planet Planai valley station, take the gondola to the mountain terminal. Schafalm is a short walk from the mountain terminal. In summer, the gondola ride is free once daily with the Schladming-Dachstein Sommercard. Without the Sommercard, a round-trip ticket costs approximately €25 per adult. In winter, the gondola ride is included with your Ski amadé ski pass.

    Driving

    If driving from Schladming, follow the B320 to the 'JET' petrol station in Schladming-Ost. Turn towards Fastenberg and follow the Planaistraße for approximately 13 km to the Planaihof car park. From the car park, it is a 150-meter walk to Schafalm. Be aware that the Planaistraße is a toll road. The toll is approximately €18 for cars. For tour coaches with table reservations, a discounted toll ticket (€75) may be available; contact Schafalm in advance. Parking at Planaihof is free.
