Getting There

  • Public Transport

    From Sölden, take the free ski bus to the Rettenbach Glacier car park. From there, it's a short walk to the base of the Schwarze Schneid gondola, which will take you to the summit. The ski bus is free with a valid ski pass or lift ticket. A day ticket for the ski area costs approximately €77.50 for adults.

  • Cable Car

    From the Sölden village center, take the Giggijochbahn gondola to the Giggijoch station. From there, transfer via the "Golden Gate to the Glacier" connecting lifts to the Rettenbach Glacier. Finally, take the Schwarze Schneid gondola to the summit station. A pedestrian ticket for the round trip on the Gaislachkoglbahn gondola costs approximately €51.50 for adults.
