Public Transport
From the Sölden Postamt (Post Office) bus stop, take bus line 8352 towards Obergurgl. Alight at the Gaislachkoglbahn bus stop. From there, the Gaislachkoglbahn cable car provides access to higher altitudes, shortening the initial ascent. Check the VVT (Verkehrsverbund Tirol) website or app for the most up-to-date bus schedules. Bus fare is approximately €4-6. A pedestrian return ticket on the Gaislachkoglbahn cable car costs €49 for adults and €27 for children.
Driving
From central Sölden, drive towards the Gaislachkoglbahn valley station. Paid parking is available at the Gaislachkoglbahn, costing €6 for a full day (8:00 am - 8:00 pm). From the parking area, you can either begin your hike directly or take the Gaislachkoglbahn cable car to a higher starting point. Note that the Ötztal Glacier Road, which leads higher into the mountains, has a toll fee.
