Getting There

  • Public Transport

    From Innsbruck, take the Stubaital bus (Route 590) towards the Stubai Glacier. Disembark at the 'Fernau' stop. The bus ride takes approximately 50 minutes from Innsbruck. A single ticket from Innsbruck to Schönberg costs approximately €4.30. From Schönberg to Fernau the bus is free for those with ski equipment or a Stubai Guest Card. Check the bus schedule in advance.

    From Innsbruck, take the A13 Brenner Autobahn south and exit at Schönberg/Stubaital (toll applies, approx. €3.50). Follow the B183 Stubaitalstraße through the valley towards the Stubai Glacier. Continue past Neustift and follow signs for Fernau Mountain Station. Parking is available near the station. Parking fees are approximately €5 per day.
