    From Salzburg, take the S3 train to Hallein. From Hallein, take Bus 450 towards Krispl-Gaissau. Get off at the 'Gaißau Unterprem' or 'Gaißau Spielbergalm Lift' stop. From there, it's approximately a 20-minute walk uphill to the Gasthaus Schmittenstüberl, where the Walderlebnisweg begins. A Guest Mobility Ticket provides free access to public transport in the province of Salzburg for overnight guests.
