Continue on Gollinger Wasserfallstraße, which leads directly to the waterfall's parking area. Parking is free at parking lot P1, which is located directly at the ticket office. Parking at P2 and P3 costs 5 Euro.

    From Salzburg Hauptbahnhof (main train station), take the S3 or S4 train towards Golling-Abtenau. Trains run approximately every 30 minutes, and the journey takes about 25 minutes. From Golling-Abtenau station, take bus number 280 towards Golling Wasserfall. The bus ride takes about 15 minutes. Get off at the 'Wasserfallstraße' stop. From the bus stop, walk along Wasserfallstraße for about 10 minutes to reach Gollinger Wasserfall. A single train ticket from Salzburg to Golling-Abtenau costs approximately €5-€8. A bus ticket costs approximately 2-4 EUR.

    From Golling-Abtenau station, exit the station and follow the signs to Wasserfallstraße. The walk is approximately 2 km and takes about 25-30 minutes. Follow the road as it curves until you reach Wasserfallstraße. Turn left onto Wasserfallstraße and continue straight until you arrive at the waterfall.

Gollinger Wasserfall, also known as Schwarzbach Falls, is one of the most spectacular natural wonders in the Salzburg region. The waterfall is fed by the Schwarzbachfall Höhle, a natural source/cave right above the waterfall. The water cascades down a rocky cliffside, creating a mesmerizing spectacle as it plunges into a tranquil pool below. The surrounding lush greenery and diverse wildlife make it an ideal spot for hiking, picnicking, and photography. Well-maintained trails lead visitors to various viewpoints, providing breathtaking vistas of the waterfall and the surrounding alpine landscape. The upper Gollinger Wasserfall is reached after an 8-10 minute walk. Cross the bridge to the Hexenkesselsteg (Witches Caldron Bridge) to see the Gollinger Wasserfall plunging into a hole.
