If driving from Abtenau, head northeast on the Lammertal Straße (B162). Continue for approximately 5 kilometers. Look for signs indicating Wieswand and turn left onto the access road. Parking is available near Wieswand. Parking fees may apply, especially during peak season. Expect to pay around €3-€5 for a day.

Public Transport

From Abtenau bus station, take a local bus towards the Postalm area. Check the bus schedule for the most up-to-date timings. Alight at the bus stop closest to Wieswand, then follow the signs. The final walk to the scenic spot is approximately 15-20 minutes. A single bus fare costs around €2-€4. Alternatively, during the summer months, a Postbus runs every Tuesday and Thursday at 10:10 am from the post office in Abtenau to the Postalm, which is reachable by the toll road from Abtenau. Return trip from Postalm parking lot around 04.16 pm. Arrival in Abtenau at the post office at 04.50 pm. With the Tennengau+ Card you go for free by bus to the Postalm and back again! (€ 2.00 toll for adults.
