If you are driving, start from the city center of Linz, the capital of Upper Austria. Take the A7 motorway towards Wels. Merge onto the A1 towards Salzburg. After approximately 50 km, take the exit 290 for A10 towards Villach. Continue on A10 for about 30 km and take exit 63 for B145 towards Bad Ischl. Follow B145 until you reach the town of Bad Ischl. From there, follow signs for Wolfgangsee, and then take the B158 towards St. Wolfgang. After approximately 10 km, turn onto L547 towards Hintertal. Continue on this road until you reach 4825 Hintertal, where the Austria Sky Ladder is located. Parking is available nearby, and be mindful of any parking fees that may apply.
