The Carmelite Convent in Linz, or Karmelitenkirche, stands as a testament to the city's rich religious and architectural heritage. Founded in 1671, when two Viennese Carmelites sought a suitable location for a convent and church, the complex has evolved over centuries into the Baroque masterpiece seen today.
