Getting There

  • Walking

    If you're starting from the center of Eisenstadt, head east along Hauptstraße (Main Street) towards the train station. Once you reach the train station, take the train to Vienna. The train journey will take approximately 1 hour. After arriving at Vienna's Hauptbahnhof (Main Train Station), exit the station and walk to the tram stop. Take tram line 18 towards 'Burgenlandstraße' and get off at 'Schottentor' stop. From there, walk north on Schottengasse until you reach Brandstätte. Zacherlhaus will be on your left at Brandstätte 6.

  • Bus and Walking

    Start your journey at the Eisenstadt bus station. Take bus number 709 towards Vienna. After about 30 minutes, the bus will drop you off at the Vienna bus terminal. From there, walk to the nearest U-Bahn (subway) station, which is 'Karlsplatz'. Take the U1 line (red line) towards 'Stephansplatz'. At 'Stephansplatz', transfer to U3 line (light blue line) towards 'Ottakring' and get off at 'Zieglergasse'. From there, walk east along Zieglergasse and turn onto Brandstätte, where Zacherlhaus is located at number 6.

  • Tram

    If you prefer using trams, walk to the nearest tram stop in Eisenstadt and take tram line 1 towards Vienna. The tram will take you directly to the Vienna tram network. Once in Vienna, switch to tram line 1 at 'Karlsplatz' towards 'Stefanplatz'. Get off at 'Schottentor' and walk north on Schottengasse until you reach Brandstätte. Zacherlhaus is located at Brandstätte 6, on your left side.
