The Nikolaitor, or Nicholas Gate, is a significant entrance to the Lainzer Tiergarten, a sprawling 2,450-hectare (6,054-acre) wildlife preserve on the edge of Vienna. As one of six access points to the Tiergarten, the Nikolaitor provides an inviting entry into a world where nature and history intertwine.Located a short 10-minute walk from the Hütteldorf U-Bahn and S-Bahn station, the Nikolaitor is easily accessible for visitors using public transportation.
