Discover more about Parkanlage Schloss Miller-Aichholz-Europahaus Wien

The Parkanlage Schloss Miller-Aichholz-Europahaus Wien offers a serene escape on the outskirts of Vienna. This expansive parkland surrounds the Schloss Miller-Aichholz, also known as Jagdschloss Esterházy and Europahaus Wien, a two-story baroque building with a rich history. Originally, the palace was built around 1750 by Johann Bernhard Fischer von Erlach for Baron Johann Georg von Grechtler. Later, it became a summer residence for the Esterházy family for over a century. Its location near the Wienerwald mountains made it a popular meeting point for private hunting parties, even attended by Emperor Franz Joseph I. In 1894, the Miller zu Aichholz family acquired the estate, but they had to sell it to the state in 1938 due to the global economic crisis. Today, the palace and park are owned by the Republic of Austria. The Schloss serves as a venue for weddings, seminars, and other events. The park provides a peaceful atmosphere for visitors to relax and enjoy nature.
