The most convenient way to reach the Stadtwanderweg 8 trailhead at Mauerbachstraße 47 is by taking the Postbus 450 to the 'Kasgraben' station. From Hütteldorf U-Bahn station (U4), take the Postbus 450 to Kasgraben. A single ticket for public transport in Vienna costs €2.40. You can purchase tickets at the U-Bahn station, from tobacconists, or online. Buying a ticket on the bus will cost you €2.60.
Walking
From the Kasgraben bus stop, walk along Mauerbachstraße to number 47. The trailhead is clearly marked. Follow the signs for Stadtwanderweg 8. Be prepared for an initial ascent into the woods.
Parking
If driving, you can find parking at the Parkplatz Kasgraben on Mauerbachstraße. Parking is free in this area. Alternatively, you could park at the Park+Ride Hütteldorf (Deutschordenstraße 3a, 1140 Wien) and take the Postbus 450 to the trailhead. Parking fees at Park+Ride Hütteldorf are approximately €4.10 per day. Another option is Garage Auhof Center (Albert Schweitzer Gasse 6, 1140 Wien), which is open from 7:00 to 23:00, but it is further away.
