    The Literaturmuseum is easily accessible via Vienna's public transport network. Take the U1 or U3 subway to Stephansplatz or the U2 or U4 to Karlsplatz. Tram lines 1, 2, 71, and D also stop nearby at Kärntner Ring, Oper. From any of these stops, it's a short walk to Johannesgasse 6. A single Vienna public transport ticket costs €2.40.

    From Stephansplatz, walk south on Kärntner Straße, then turn left onto Johannesgasse. The museum will be on your left. From Karlsplatz, walk north on Kärntner Straße, then turn right onto Johannesgasse. The walk is approximately 10-15 minutes. This will allow you to see the Vienna State Opera and other attractions along the way.
