Start by taking the U-Bahn (subway) from any central station in Vienna, like Stephansplatz (U1 line) towards Leopoldau. Disembark at the station 'Praterstern'. From Praterstern, transfer to the S-Bahn (commuter train) S7 towards Wolfsthal or the R train towards Rax. The journey should take about 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Petronell-Carnuntum' station.

Once you arrive at the 'Petronell-Carnuntum' train station, exit the station and head to the nearby bus stop. Take bus number 121 towards 'Petronell-Carnuntum Hauptstraße'. The bus ride will take approximately 10 minutes. Alight at the 'Hauptstraße 78' stop, which is just in front of the Museum Auxiliarkastell.
