The Schönbrunn Maze, located in the Schönbrunn Palace Gardens in Vienna, offers a delightful and engaging experience for visitors of all ages. Originally built for the Habsburg royal family between 1698 and 1740, it was restored in 1999 based on historical models, providing a unique blend of history and recreation.

Public Transport
From the city center, take the U4 metro line to the Schönbrunn station. Follow the signs towards the Schönbrunn Palace gardens, a short 400m walk from the station to the palace grounds. Once inside the gardens, walk south towards the Neptune Fountain; the maze entrance will be on your right. A single metro ticket costs €2.40.
Walking
From Schönbrunn Palace, head to the garden side of the main building (south side). Walk down towards the Neptune Fountain at the bottom of the landscaped gardens. The entrance to the maze is on your right, just before you reach the fountain and close to the zoo. There are no additional costs for walking.
Driving
If driving, follow signs to Schönbrunn Palace (Schönbrunner Schloßstrasse 47). Paid parking is available at Schlosspark Parking for approximately €4.50 per hour. From the parking area, follow signs to the Maze within the Schönbrunn Palace gardens.
