The museum's twenty-five rooms on two floors are dedicated to the former villages of Baumgarten, Breitensee, Hadersdorf-Weidlingau, Hütteldorf and Penzing. Each room offers a glimpse into the distinct character and history of these communities, showcasing the traditions, industries, and personalities that shaped them. Explore exhibits that capture the essence of Penzing's past, including a historic grocer's shop, a lumberjack's hut, and workshops of local artisans like musical instrument makers and glove makers. The Bezirksmuseum Penzing also pays homage to famous residents, with dedicated spaces celebrating the lives and works of Otto Wagner, Gustav Klimt, Eduard Gurk, and Heinz Conrads. The museum also explores the natural landscape of the Wiental-Wienerwald, displaying the diverse flora and fauna of the Vienna Woods.
