Limited free parking is available at Parkplatz Halterberg, near the nature reserve. Be mindful of parking regulations. From the parking area, it's a short walk to the entrance of Meloner Au. Parking is free.
Public Transport

From Krems an der Donau, take a regional bus towards Altmelon. Buses run several times a day, so check the schedule in advance. From the Altmelon Ortsmitte (town center) bus stop, it's approximately a 15-minute walk to Meloner Au. Follow the signs directing you to the Naturschutzgebiet (nature reserve). Bus fare from Krems to Altmelon ranges from €5-€10.
