    From the village pond in Lassing, follow the signs towards the Mendlingtal entrance. The walk to the ticket office takes approximately 15 minutes via the former coal path. Note that the path down to the valley entrance includes stairs.

    Take bus lines 640, 655, or 164 to Göstling/Ybbs. From the Göstling/Ybbs bus stop, it's approximately a 30-minute walk to the Mendlingtal entrance. Follow the signs from the town center to Lassing and then to the valley.
