Designed by Tyrolean artist Manfred Hörl, this metal structure resembles an eagle's nest and provides a breathtaking 360° vista.

From various locations around Achensee, take Bus Line 833 towards Maurach. Alight at the 'Maurach Rofan Seilbahn' bus stop, a short walk from the Rofan cable car valley station. Bus fare is approximately €2.50. From the mountain station, follow the signs for a steep, rocky 30-minute hike to the Adlerhorst.

If you are in Maurach, walk towards Achenseestraße and follow it to Achenseestraße 10, where the Rofan cable car valley station is located. The walk from the center of Maurach takes about 10-15 minutes. Purchase a round-trip ticket (€18 for adults) and ascend to the mountain station. From there, follow the signs for a steep, rocky 30-minute hike to the Adlerhorst.

From anywhere in Achensee, drive towards Maurach on Achenseestraße (B181). The Rofan cable car valley station is located at Achenseestraße 10. Park at the Rofan Seilbahn 1 car park. Parking fees apply, but passengers of the Rofan cable car receive a refund at the ticket window. Purchase a round-trip ticket (€18 for adults) and ascend to the mountain station. From there, follow the signs for a steep, rocky 30-minute hike to the Adlerhorst.
