    Discover more about Winter Park

Winter Park, also known as Winter Boulevard, is a modern recreational area in the center of Baku, offering a serene escape from the bustling city. Opened in May 2013, the park was built on the orders of the Azerbaijani President and quickly became a favorite among locals and tourists. The park stretches one kilometer in length and 150 meters in width, situated above an underground car park between Fizuli and Mirzaga Aliyev streets. It begins behind the Heydar Aliyev Palace and extends to Fizuli Square. The park features five fountain complexes and seven underground passages equipped with 24 escalators, ensuring convenient movement for visitors. There are also 32 passageways in the parking lot for easy access to the park. Nearly 2,000 trees and over 10,000 ornamental bushes have been planted across 35,000 square meters, creating a unique natural environment. The park's design considered the historical buildings nearby, even relocating one to facilitate construction. Unlike Baku's coastal boulevard, which can be windy in winter, Winter Park's location provides shelter from the Khazri wind.
