Be sure to confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey. Taxi fares generally have a starting price of 2.0 BHD, with each KM priced at 1.0 BHD. Waiting time costs 3.5 BHD per hour.

  • Public Transport

    While not the most direct, public transport is a budget-friendly option. From the Manama bus station, take bus routes 41, 42, or A2 towards Reef Mall. Alternatively, Bus No. 66 operates towards the Sea Front area. From Reef Mall or the Sea Front stop, Reef Island is a short taxi ride (approximately 1-2 BHD) or walk towards Rd 4652. The bus fare is around 0.30 BHD. Keep in mind that bus schedules may be infrequent, so plan accordingly.

    If driving from Manama, head towards the northern region and take the Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman Highway (Highway 5) west. Continue for about 8 kilometers until you see signs for Reef Island. Take the exit toward Rd 4652 and follow the road to the island's entrance. Ample parking is available in a multi-story car park for visitors. Parking fees are approximately 0.5 BHD per hour.
