A highlight is the Durand Stone, a basalt sculpture from the Babylonian era, and a tableau depicting a scene from the Epic of Gilgamesh, referencing Bahrain as the paradise of Dilmun.Two halls focus on Bahrain's culture and lifestyle before industrialization, displaying traditional crafts, customs, and social practices. The Natural History Hall exhibits Bahrain's flora and fauna, providing insights into the region's natural environment. The museum also features a Hall of Graves, displaying burial mounds relocated from A'ali, offering a glimpse into ancient burial practices.The Bahrain National Museum is more than just a display of artifacts; it is a center for cultural engagement, hosting events, workshops, and educational programs. Visitors can also take a boat trip to the Bu Maher Fort on Muharraq island, part of the Bahrain Pearling Trail, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
