There are no tolls or entry fees specifically for this final trekking segment. However, guides typically charge Tk 4500-5000 for the entire Amiakhum, Velakhum and Satvaikhum trip. Food costs around Tk 120-150 per meal at tribal houses.

    From Thanchi, the most common way to start the journey to Amiakhum is by hiring an engine boat to Remakri. The boat ride takes approximately 4 hours along the Sangu River, passing by Raja Pathor and through scenic landscapes. The cost for hiring a boat from Thanchi to Remakri and back is approximately Tk 4000-4500 for a boat that can seat 5-6 people. Bargaining is recommended. This is a necessary step as there are no roads for vehicle transport beyond this point.
