Car
From Jaflong, head west on the Jaflong Road. Continue for approximately 6 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the National Highway 6. Turn left onto National Highway 6 and drive for about 25 kilometers. Look for signs to Mawlynnong on your right. You'll need to take a right turn onto a local road when you see the sign for Mawlynnong village. Continue driving for about 5 kilometers until you reach Mawlynnong. The Mawlynnong Tree House is located at the center of the village, which is a popular tourist attraction.

Public Transportation
From Jaflong, you can take a local bus to Shillong. The bus stand is usually near the Jaflong market. Buses to Shillong run frequently, and the fare is approximately 100 BDT. Once you reach Shillong, you'll need to take another bus or shared taxi to Mawlynnong. Look for the bus terminal that has services to Mawlynnong or ask a local for directions. The fare from Shillong to Mawlynnong is around 300 BDT. Once you arrive in Mawlynnong, you can walk to the Tree House, which is located in the village center.

If you prefer a more comfortable option, consider hiring a taxi from Jaflong directly to Mawlynnong. You can negotiate a fare with local taxi drivers, but expect to pay around 1500 BDT for a one-way trip. The journey should take about an hour. The taxi will drop you off at the entrance of Mawlynnong village, from where you can easily walk to the Tree House.
