From Sylhet city center (e.g., Amberkhana point), take a CNG auto-rickshaw to Shringi Bridge, near the Khadim Tea Gardens. The ride is approximately 20 km and takes about 1.5-2 hours. A private CNG for a return trip will cost approximately BDT 800-1500. From Shringi Bridge, hire a local boat to enter Ratargul Swamp Forest. Boat rentals typically range from BDT 400-800 depending on the size and duration. Negotiate the price beforehand. Entry fee to the forest is BDT 50 per adult.

From Sylhet city, take a bus to Goain Ghat. From Goain Ghat, you can hire a local engine boat (trawler) to reach the forest. The bus fare from Sylhet to Sharighat is approximately BDT 40-50. From Sharighat, take a 'baby taxi' (CNG) to Gowainghat. Then rent a boat to enter the swamp. Boat fare from Gowainghat is approximately BDT 800-1200 for a larger group (10-12 people). Entry fee to the forest is BDT 50 per adult.
