The Interpretation Centre is within walking distance from the Sajnekhali jetty. Train fare from Sealdah to Canning is approximately INR 15-20. Local transport from Canning to Godkhali will cost around INR 50-100. Ferry fare to Sajnekhali is approximately INR 50.

    If traveling by car from Kolkata, drive towards Canning. From Canning, continue towards Godkhali, which is the gateway to Sundarbans. Take the Basanti Highway. From Godkhali, you will need to take a ferry to Sajnekhali. The Mangrove Interpretation Centre is a short walk from the Sajnekhali ferry landing. Car parking is available at Godkhali Ferry Ghat. The drive from Kolkata to Godkhali is approximately 2-3 hours, covering around 100 km. Ferry charges are approximately INR 50 per person. Parking charges at Godkhali are approximately INR 100 per day.
