CNG/Auto-rickshaw
From Kishoreganj town, the most common way to reach Nikli Haor is by CNG auto-rickshaw. Head to the CNG station near Kishoreganj Railway Station. You can hire a CNG either locally (sharing with other passengers) or reserve it for a private ride. A shared CNG costs approximately 70-80 BDT per person, while a reserved CNG will cost around 350-400 BDT. The journey takes about 1 hour, covering approximately 25 kilometers. The CNG will drop you off near Nikli Bazar, from where you can easily access the haor's embankment and boat rental services.

Bus & CNG/Auto-rickshaw
If arriving by bus from Dhaka, disembark at the Katiadi bus stand before reaching Kishoreganj. From Katiadi, hire a CNG auto-rickshaw to Nikli, which is about 22 kilometers away. A reserved CNG will cost approximately 350-400 BDT and take around 1 hour and 20 minutes. Alternatively, you can take a local CNG for around 80 BDT per person. The CNG will drop you off near Nikli Bazar, where you can find boats for exploring the haor.

Once you reach Nikli Bazar, the final step to experience Nikli Haor is by boat. Head to the embankment (Beri Badh) where you'll find numerous boat operators. Negotiate the hourly rate for a boat tour. Smaller boats typically cost 400-500 BDT per hour, while larger boats suitable for groups cost 700-800 BDT per hour. The total cost depends on the duration of your tour. Aim for at least 3 hours to explore the haor and visit nearby attractions like Chhatir Char. There are no additional access fees to the haor itself.
