Public Transport
From Bridgetown, the Barbados Transport Board operates a modern fleet of electric buses that can take you to the Stade's Rum Visitors Centre. The buses are blue with a yellow stripe. You can catch a bus from two terminals in Bridgetown: Fairchild Street and Princess Alice Highway. The bus fare is $3.50 BBD for a one-way journey. Payments must be made in cash in the local Barbados Dollar as the buses use a fare box system and drivers don't carry change. The buses tend to start from as early as 6 AM, with the last journeys occurring between 8 and 10 PM.

Taxis are readily available throughout Bridgetown and offer a convenient way to reach Stade's Rum Visitors Centre. Taxi fares are regulated by the government, but it's always best to confirm the price with the driver before starting your trip. A one-way trip within Bridgetown is estimated to be around $10-$15 USD. Trips around Bridgetown center shouldn't cost more than €4.80 (BBD 10).
