From Antwerp, you can take bus number 500 from the Antwerp Berchem Station. The bus ride to Lier takes approximately 40 minutes. Get off at the 'Lier, Stadspark' stop. From there, walk towards the main square for about 500 meters, and you will arrive at Zimmerplein, where the Gevangenenpoort is located.
