Wollemarkt is about 250 meters from Grote Markt. The walk is generally flat, though the ground surface consists mainly of cobblestones.

    Mechelen is well-served by public transport. From Mechelen Station, take bus line 1 towards the city center. Get off at a stop near Brusselpoort and walk towards the city center. Alternatively, numerous other bus lines connect the station to the city center, including bus lines 2, 5, 500, 508, 550, 551, or 552 to the halte Mechelen Biest. From there, walk towards Grote Markt, take the first right onto Sint-Janstraat, then left onto Goswin de Stassartstraat to reach Wollemarkt. A single bus ticket costs approximately €2.50.
