    From the Blankenberge train station, exit the station and head towards the main street, Zeedijk. Turn left and walk along the promenade until you reach the end of the beach area. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the N31 highway. Here, turn right and walk towards the bus station. You will find a bus stop for the bus to Ghent. Board the bus that goes to Ghent and enjoy the ride. Once you arrive at Gent's main bus station, follow the signs to the tram station. Take tram line 1 towards 'Gent St. Pieters' and get off at 'Gent Dampoort'. From there, it's a short walk to the Gravensteen Castle. Simply head southwest on Sint-Veerleplein until you reach the castle at number 11.

    At the Blankenberge bus station, find the bus that connects to Ghent. You will want to board a bus heading towards Ghent; these buses are usually marked with a sign that includes 'Gent' in their route details. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Ghent, disembark at the main bus terminal. From there, walk towards the nearest tram stop and take tram line 1 heading towards 'Gent St. Pieters'.
