    Walking

    From the center of Bruges, head southeast towards 'Burg' square. Walk through 'Burg' and continue past the City Hall. At the end of 'Burg', turn left onto 'Langestraat'. Follow 'Langestraat' until you reach 'Korte Zilverstraat' and turn right. Continue straight until you reach the canal, then take a left onto 'Hoogstraat'. Walk straight, crossing over the bridge, and continue until you reach the 'Brugge' train station. From there, take the train to 'Gent-Sint-Pieters' station. Once at 'Gent-Sint-Pieters', transfer to tram line 1 heading to 'Gent'. Get off at 'Sint-Baafsplein' stop, and you will find Saint Bavo's Cathedral right in front of you.

    Public Transport

    From any central location in Bruges, make your way to the 'Brugge' train station. You can either walk or take a local bus. Once at the train station, purchase a ticket to 'Gent-Sint-Pieters'. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Upon arrival at 'Gent-Sint-Pieters', exit the station and look for tram line 1, which goes towards 'Gent'. Ride the tram for approximately 10 minutes and disembark at 'Sint-Baafsplein'. The cathedral will be directly in front of you.
