Getting There

• Train

  If you're in Brussels, head to Brussels Central Station (Bruxelles-Central). From the station, take a direct train to Leuven. Trains run frequently, approximately every 10-20 minutes. The journey takes about 25 minutes. Once you arrive at Leuven Station, exit the station and follow the signs to the bus stop or walk towards the city center. It's about a 15-minute walk to Saint Peter's Church located at Grote Markt 1.

• Bus

  From Brussels, you can also take a bus to Leuven. Head to the Brussels North Station (Gare du Nord). Look for the bus terminal and take the bus number 620 or 621 towards Leuven. The bus ride will take around 40-50 minutes. Once you arrive at the central bus station in Leuven, you can walk to Saint Peter's Church, which is about a 10-minute walk. Simply head towards the city center and follow the signs to Grote Markt.

• Bicycle

  For an adventurous option, consider renting a bicycle in Brussels. You can use a bike-sharing service such as Villo! or rent a bicycle from a local shop. Start your ride from the city center and head towards the south through the Parc du Cinquantenaire, then follow the signs to the R20 highway towards Leuven. The ride is about 25 km and should take around 1-1.5 hours. Once in Leuven, follow the signs to the city center and Grote Markt 1 to reach Saint Peter's Church.

• Walking

  If you're already in Leuven, navigating to Saint Peter's Church is straightforward. From the city center, make your way to the Grote Markt. The church is located directly on the square at Grote Markt 1. Look for the tall tower; it's a prominent landmark. You can easily ask locals for directions if needed.
