To reach Vrijdagmarkt in Ghent via tram, start from the city center of Brussels, specifically at the 'Brussels Central' tram station. Take Tram 1 towards 'Gare de l'Ouest' and ride for about 30 minutes. Transfer at 'Brussels North' station to Tram 3 towards 'Esplanade'. After approximately 15 minutes, get off at 'Ghent St. Pieters' station. From there, it's a 10-minute walk to Vrijdagmarkt. Exit the station, head southeast on 'Kouter', and continue straight until you reach the market square.

From Brussels Central Station, take a direct train to 'Ghent St. Pieters' station. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Ghent St. Pieters, exit the station and head southeast on 'Kouter'. After approximately a 10-minute walk, you will arrive at Vrijdagmarkt, which is a lively square in the city center.
Bus
From Brussels, head to the Brussels North bus station. Take Bus 47 towards 'Ghent'. The journey will take around 1 hour. Once you arrive at the 'Ghent' stop, exit the bus and walk straight for about 5 minutes to reach Vrijdagmarkt. The market square is a vibrant area with many historical buildings.
