Walking
Start at the De Haan town center, specifically at the main square (Markt). From the square, head east towards the beach. Once you reach the beachfront promenade, turn left and walk along the beach. Continue until you reach the end of the promenade, then turn right onto the main road (Zeedijk). Follow this road as it curves slightly, and look for signs directing you toward Middelburg. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, you will reach the local bus stop. Take the bus towards Middelburg, which will take about 30 minutes. Once in Middelburg, disembark at the central station. From there, walk south towards the Koorkerkhof, where you will find the Koorkerk van Middelburg at Koorkerkhof 2.
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, start at De Haan and cycle towards the northern part of the beach. Follow the dedicated bike paths along the coastline. After about 3 kilometers, you will reach the intersection with the main road leading to Middelburg (N57). Turn left onto N57. Continue on this road for approximately 8 kilometers until you see signs for Middelburg. Upon entering Middelburg, look for bike-friendly paths that lead you toward the city center. Park your bicycle near the Koorkerkhof, where the Koorkerk van Middelburg is located at Koorkerkhof 2.
Public Transport
Start from De Haan and make your way to the nearest bus stop, which is often located near the town center. Take the bus towards Ostend and transfer to a train at the Ostend train station. Board a train heading towards Middelburg. The train journey will take approximately 30 to 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Middelburg station, exit and head south towards the city center. Follow the signs to Koorkerkhof. The Koorkerk van Middelburg is located at Koorkerkhof 2, just a short walk from the station.
