Start at the Liège-Guillemins train station. Exit the station and head towards the main square, Place des Guillemins. Take the bus number 4 towards 'Sart-Tilman' and get off at the stop 'Gare de Bressoux'. From there, transfer to bus number 5 heading towards 'Laveu' and get off at the stop 'Place de la République'. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection and turn left onto Rue des Prémontrés. Follow this road, which will take you directly to the border with Germany, arriving at Marktplatz in Aachen-Brand.
Bus
Begin at Place Saint-Lambert in central Liège. Board bus number 1 towards 'Sart-Tilman'. Stay on the bus for approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Avenue de l'Observatoire'. Here, transfer to bus number 63 towards 'Aachen'. Stay on this bus until you reach Aachen-Brand. The Marktplatz is a short walk from the bus stop.
Train
If you are near the central train station, Liège Palais, catch a train heading towards Aachen. The train ride will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Aachen Central Station, exit the station and take bus number 5 towards 'Laveu'. Get off at the stop 'Place de la République' and walk straight until you reach Rue des Prémontrés, then turn left to reach Marktplatz.
