If you're starting from the heart of Liege, head towards the Liege-Guillemins railway station. From the station, walk north on Rue de la Cité towards the city center. Continue straight until you reach Place Saint-Lambert. At Place Saint-Lambert, take the exit towards Rue de la Cathédrale and walk straight until you reach the cathedral. From there, follow the signs to the bus terminal and catch Bus 1 towards Aachen. The bus will take you directly to Aachen and drop you off near the City Church of St. Nicholas. After you get off the bus, walk a short distance to An d. Nikolauskirche 3, where the church is located.

From Liege's city center, head to the nearest bus stop. You can take Bus 1 from the stop near Place Saint-Lambert. The bus travels towards Aachen. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the next departure. Once you arrive in Aachen, get off at the stop nearest to An d. Nikolauskirche 3. From there, it is a short walk to the City Church of St. Nicholas. Make sure to plan your return trip accordingly, using the same bus line.
