From the city center of Liège (Gare des Guillemins), head east towards Avenue de l'Observatoire. Walk straight until you reach the roundabout. From there, take Rue de la Régence and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rue des Mineurs. Turn left onto Rue des Mineurs and continue walking until you reach Place Saint-Lambert. From Place Saint-Lambert, head towards the Meuse River and cross the bridge at Pont de Fragnée. Once you cross, continue along the riverbank until you reach the intersection with Rue de la Paix. From there, take a right onto Rue de la Paix. Follow this street until you reach the main road leading out of the city towards Aachen. This will lead you to the border. Once you cross into Germany, follow the signs for Aachen and head towards Friedrich-Wilhelm-Platz, which should be a short walk from the border.

From the Liège-Guillemins train station, take a train towards Aachen. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Aachen Hauptbahnhof, exit the train station and head towards the bus terminal located just outside. From there, catch bus line 3 towards 'Aachen - Orsbach' and disembark at the 'Friedrich-Wilhelm-Platz' stop. This will drop you right next to your destination.
