Walking
From the center of Zeebrugge, head east on Zeebrugge-Dorp towards the Zeebrugge railway station. Once at the station, take a train towards Ghent. The train ride will take about 30 minutes. Disembark at Ghent St. Pieters station. From the station, exit onto Koningin Maria Hendrikaplein, and then take Tram 1 towards 'Gent - Korenmarkt'. Get off at 'Gent - Korenmarkt'. Walk north along the streets until you reach Jan Breydelstraat. The Design Museum Gent will be on your left at Jan Breydelstraat 5.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle in Zeebrugge and head northeast on the bike paths. Follow the signs towards the main road leading to Bruges, and then take the cycling path towards Ghent. The ride will take approximately 1.5 hours. Once you reach the outskirts of Ghent, continue following the bike lanes towards the city center. When you arrive at Jan Breydelstraat, park your bicycle at a designated area and the Design Museum Gent will be right there at Jan Breydelstraat 5.
Public Transport
Start at the Zeebrugge-Dorp bus stop and take bus number 33 towards 'Brugge'. After approximately 20 minutes, get off at the 'Brugge Station'. From there, switch to the train towards Ghent. The train journey will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Ghent St. Pieters station, take Tram 1 in the direction of 'Gent - Korenmarkt'. Get off at 'Gent - Korenmarkt' and walk north along the streets until you reach Jan Breydelstraat. The Design Museum Gent will be located at Jan Breydelstraat 5 on your left.
