Train
From Zeebrugge, head to the Zeebrugge-Dorp train station. You can walk to the station in about 10 minutes. Once at the station, take a train to Gent-Sint-Pieters station. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. From Gent-Sint-Pieters, take tram line 1 towards 'Burgstraat' and get off at 'Korenmarkt' stop. Once you exit the tram, walk straight towards the Gravensteen castle, which is about a 10-minute walk.
Bus
From Zeebrugge, take bus line 33 towards Brugge. Get off at the 'Brugge' station. From Brugge, transfer to a train to Gent-Sint-Pieters station. After arriving at Gent-Sint-Pieters, catch tram line 1 towards 'Burgstraat', and get off at 'Korenmarkt'. Walk straight for about 10 minutes to reach Gravensteen.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Zeebrugge. Head towards the Zeebrugge-Dorp area and then follow the signs towards Ghent. The route is approximately 30 kilometers and will take about 2 hours depending on your pace. Once you arrive in Ghent, head towards the city center and follow signs to Sint-Veerleplein where Gravensteen is located.
Walking
Walking from the central area of Zeebrugge to Gent is quite a distance and may not be practical, as it is around 30 kilometers. However, if you are feeling adventurous, you can head towards the coast and then follow the paths leading to the city outskirts of Ghent, where you can then navigate to the city center and Gravensteen.
