    From the center of Zeebrugge, head towards the Zeebrugge train station. Once at the station, take the train to Ghent. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Upon arrival at Ghent's train station (Gent-Sint-Pieters), exit the station and look for tram line 1. Board tram line 1 in the direction of 'Gent Centrum'. Stay on the tram for 5 stops, and get off at 'Korenmarkt'. From there, walk towards the Gravensteen castle. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the street 'Sint-Baafsplein'. Turn left and walk straight until you see Coyendanspark. Saint Bavo's Abbey will be on your left at Coyendanspark 6.

    If you prefer cycling, rent a bike in Zeebrugge and head towards Ghent. Follow the coastal bike paths through the scenic routes, which will take you about 1 hour and 15 minutes. From the tram stop 'Korenmarkt', follow the same walking instructions to reach Saint Bavo's Abbey.
