Car
From Caracol, head southwest on the main road toward the San Antonio village. Continue to follow the signs to San Ignacio. After approximately 30 minutes of driving, you will arrive at the junction with the Western Highway (Hummingbird Highway). Turn left onto the Western Highway and continue for about 15 minutes until you reach the town of San Jose Succotz. Keep your eyes peeled for the sign for Maya Flats Airstrip; it's located at the coordinates 17.1038467, -89.1045405 (4V3W+G5P). The airstrip is approximately 5 minutes from San Jose Succotz, just off the main road. Make sure to check for signs indicating the airstrip.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, you can take a bus from Caracol to San Ignacio. Buses leave regularly throughout the day, and the fare is usually around BZD 5-10. Once you arrive in San Ignacio, you will need to find a local taxi to take you to Maya Flats Airstrip. The taxi ride will cost approximately BZD 15-25.
