    From Crooked Tree Wildlife Sanctuary, head south on the main road towards the village of Crooked Tree. After approximately 10 minutes, you'll reach the junction where you turn left onto the Philip Goldson Highway (also known as the Northern Highway). Continue on this highway for about 20 miles (32 km) until you see signs for the town of Belize City. Stay on the highway until you reach the turn for the Hummingbird Highway, which is on your right. Follow the Hummingbird Highway for about 30 miles (48 km) until you reach Springfield. Look for signs directing you to 1000 Foot Falls. The falls are approximately 5 miles (8 km) from the highway, and you may need to rely on local guides or signs to navigate the final stretch.
