    If you are traveling by car, start by getting onto the George Price Highway (also known as the Western Highway). From San Ignacio, head east towards Belmopan. After approximately 25 kilometers, you will pass through the town of Belmopan. Continue on the George Price Highway for about 18 kilometers until you reach Mile 29. The Belize Zoo and Tropical Education Center is located on the right side of the highway, just before reaching La Democracia. Look for the signs indicating the zoo entrance.
