If you are driving from anywhere in Coastal Plains, start by heading towards the Philip Goldson Highway (also known as Highway 1). Follow the signs that direct you to Belize City. Continue on the highway for approximately 30 miles (48 kilometers) until you reach the junction that leads you to the town of Orange Walk. At this junction, follow the signs for Altun Ha, which will lead you to the access road to the site. The entrance to Altun Ha is located at QM73+R33, Rock Stone Pond. There is a small entry fee to visit the site, typically around $5 USD per person.
