From Crooked Tree Wildlife Sanctuary, start by heading southwest on the main road (Northern Highway). Continue for approximately 10 miles until you reach the junction for the Altun Ha site. Turn left onto the road marked for Altun Ha, which is well-signposted. Follow this road for about 2 miles until you reach the entrance of Altun Ha. There is a small fee for parking, which is typically around $5 USD.

From Crooked Tree Wildlife Sanctuary, you can take a local bus heading towards Belize City. The bus will drop you off at the junction for Altun Ha, which is approximately 10 miles away. Once you arrive at the junction, you may need to wait for a taxi or arrange a ride with a local to take you the additional 2 miles to the entrance of Altun Ha. Expect to pay around $10 USD for the taxi ride. The entrance fee to Altun Ha is typically around $5 USD.
