Car
If you are driving from the Crooked Tree Wildlife Sanctuary, start by heading southwest on the main road out of the sanctuary. Drive for about 15 minutes until you reach the junction that leads to the Philip Goldson Highway (also known as the Northern Highway). Turn left onto the highway and continue driving for approximately 30 minutes towards San Ignacio. Once you reach San Ignacio, look for Buena Vista Street. Turn right onto Buena Vista Street, and you will find the Green Iguana Conservation Project at 18 Buena Vista Street, on your left.

Public Transportation
To reach the Green Iguana Conservation Project via public transportation, you can take a bus from Crooked Tree to Belize City. Buses leave regularly and the fare is usually around $5 BZD. Once you arrive in Belize City, transfer to a bus heading towards San Ignacio (the fare is approximately $10 BZD). After arriving in San Ignacio, walk or take a taxi to Buena Vista Street. The Green Iguana Conservation Project is located at 18 Buena Vista Street, which is about a 10-minute walk from the bus station. A taxi may cost around $5-10 BZD.
